Legalize DUI

So what do I really think of DUI? It's bullshit. There are already penalties for running shit over and hitting people or property. Why is the content of my blood up for state inspection? Arresting folks because they might injure or hurt someone is against all tenets of our uniquely American brand of liberty. Don't ya think a DUI arrest is kinda foreshadowing the days when our government will test us for specific genes that have been found in a disproportionately high percentage of serial killers and just arrest us for that probability. It's not unconceivable that our omniscient leaders will soon decide that we have to pass a "tired" test and if we have enough "Free Melatonin" circulating in our blood we will be convicted of DWS (Driving While Sleepy). Once the test can detect it, and the government determines they can make a cottage industry out of arresting and criminalizing the sleepy drivers who routinely fall asleep at the wheel and run over little babies and children, watch what happens.
