Surveillance is such a pervasive thing that we barely notice it these days. But living in Vegas, I am acutely aware of the insane amount of cameras mounted everywhere by both government and private entities. Casinos watch every step I take as I walk through the door, and my government monitors me on the way to and fro via traffic cameras and little enforcement cameras mounted on lights. Frankly I don't so much mind the cameras as I mind the bullshit illegal spying the NSA and other high ranking agencies do without my consent. If I leave the house, I understand my privacy will be violated, but I flip off the cameras nevertheless.
